The Capri is an independent not-for-profit cinema and theatre, run by a network of generous volunteers. Built in 1941, it is heritage listed and houses the Theatre Organ Society’s unique world class theatre pipe organ. With a large stage and seating capacity of up to 750 for large events or simply utilise the stalls section for smaller events of up to 300 people, the space is flexible and the front of house areas are a beautiful setting for drinks before the show or during intermission. The profit from all events and tickets go back in to the restoration of this iconic art deco building and the WurliTzer organ.
The space is part of: Capri Theatre
