Once a sheep-grazing property located 3.5 kilometres from the township of Palmer, the Palmer Sculpture Landscape is now 400 acres of stunning Australian bushland undergoing ecological restoration. It is also a site dedicated to the display of contemporary sculpture and activities that explore the interface between art, science and the environment. The owner, South Australian sculptor Greg Johns, purchased it in 2001 and since then it has been the venue for numerous exhibitions and events, including the Palmer Sculpture Biennial which has earned an international reputation for exhibiting significant works by sculptors from throughout Australia and overseas.
