MOD. a museum of discovery

MOD. at Adelaide University is a future-focused museum of discovery, a place to be and be inspired by ideas at the intersection of science, art, and innovation. Presenting annual exhibitions designed for people aged 15-25, MOD. showcases how research shapes our understanding of the world around us to inform our futures. It's like no other museum experience in Australia, bringing together researchers, industries, and students to push boundaries, explore, and inspire curiosity.

It features Australia’s first ‘Science on a Sphere’, a room-size display that shows planetary data on a sphere surrounded by interactive touchscreens. In addition to nine purpose-built gallery areas over two floors, MOD. offers tailored accessibility resources & the MOD. Shop and Café on the Ground level of the university’s Bradley Building, located on North Terrace.
MOD. delivers an ambitious annual exhibition with free public entry, as well as talks, workshops, and special events programmed throughout the year.
