Brighton Performing Arts Centre

The Brighton Performing Arts Centre comprises of two uniquely different venues - Brighton Theatre and Brighton Concert Hall. The Brighton Theatre was designed as a ‘Black Box’ Theatre concept, meaning a space that is totally flexible to the end user as its black walls, ceiling and floors make the venue ideal to stage any number of performances or events. This versatile concept flows throughout the entire centre, providing a vibrant multi-purpose environment that is totally flexible and ideally suited for performing arts, cultural activities, corporate events, presentations and exhibitions. 20m x 20m total Auditorium and stage space of 13m x 7m - total seating is 332. The Brighton Concert Hall is an “acoustically treated” live performance venue with a total area of 660m2 and an auditorium capacity of 374 fixed seats with room for a further 50 chairs. This facility has been built specifically with music and orchestral performances in mind.
