The Sound Of Gospel
Come and be part of what will certainly be the most Uplifting and Inspiring show of the whole festival. Even if you don't have a faith, there is something about Revival Gospel Music that stirs your soul, and makes you want to stand up and clap, or even do a somersault down the aisle! We promise you that you’ll leave the venue with a brand new spirit of HOPE!
Entertaining and interactive, and for ONE SHOW ONLY you'll not only hear classic Gospel songs from Aretha Franklin, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson & the Gaither Vocal Group but also newer Christian songs from the likes of Jelly Roll & the Rend Collective
Featuring Henry & Talika Olonga from Zimbabwe, plus the powerhouse vocals of Mason Lloyde and Darcy Mae – backed by a choir, dancers & the very best musicians in Adelaide.
Plenty of car park spaces behind the Woodville Town Hall. We invite you to bring lemons, or apples, or whatever to swap. Let's reach out to each other with LOVE!
Presented by: Jim Paterson & The Wellbeing Social Club
Jim is originally from Scotland, and has been performing and putting on shows since 1976.
Moving to London was his 1st big move, and he worked at a lot of the major recording studios there, and played at the biggest venues before relocating to Sweden and producing acts at ABBA's studio.
The next stage of his life took him to America where he taught kids at a summer camp, and then the call of Glasgow took him home again.
After writing songs for Scottish theatre shows Jim decided it was time to go around the world. He then worked with some Bollywood musicians in India before joining a band in Adelaide in 1994
The BordererS then proceeded to become the most successful Celtic / Roots band in Australia selling 100's of thousands of cd's and touring the world.
His daughter is his joy.
