The Paperboy's Paradox: Jokes Across Time

The viral hit 5,000 people read in Edinburgh. The only Fringe act that’s also a newspaper—actually three newspapers, but not in a trench coat. Sorry about that.

Deported through space-time, this paperboy is here to steal tomorrow’s headlines. After flooding the streets of Scotland with his ‘fake’ news, he brings the scoop to Adelaide.

From J.K. Rowling's hatred of trains, via exclusive reviews of the DPRK Comedy Festival, to actual science from the future, this 15-minute satirical set roasts social chaos with absurd, future-proof laughs.

Featuring headlines that cut deep—like Richard Dawkins tackling modern identity ”with all the self-awareness of a Victorian headmaster on lead-laced rum”—this is the news you didn’t know you needed.

Come to the show and catch the third tabloid for your collection. It’s two hours take away comedy, or five if you’re a slow reader. Get lost in the footnotes or else.

WARNING: The performer will not take responsibility for any collapsed timelines.

Two issues of the newspaper are available to pick up in the Adelaide Fringe area. If you want to pick up previous issues and meet the paperboy personally, visit the show.
