The Infinity Mirror
Google your name. Now.
When a young woman discovers an AI version of herself online, her life begins to fracture. Which relationships are real, and which are hallucinations?
As she enters a confrontation with her own digital double, she must face the versions of herself she’s curated, deleted and buried in order to reclaim her identity.
Blending theatre, storytelling and immersive technology, The Infinity Mirror is a modern myth about consent, control and what we surrender when convenience comes first.
★★★★★ - "sophisticated, don't look away theatre-making" - Reviews by Judith
Presented by: Purple Tape Productions
Purple Tape Productions are a theatre company run by women, with the aim of uplifting female and gender diverse voices in the theatre. Having started in 2022 after years of “unofficial” collaboration between Tyler Fitzpatrick and Lily Hayman, the company has grown quickly. Winning Adelaide Fringe and Sydney Theatre Awards in 2023, they have been recognised for a strong ability to deliver exciting new work by women/gender diverse artists across multiple independent spaces. With a focus on fostering new work to the stage, Purple Tape makes bold, female-led productions. We do the heavy lifting and we wear the (fabulous) pants.
