This show belongs to the Adelaide Fringe 2025 season. This season is now over.

The image shows a person wearing a red mushroom hat with white spots, a red clown nose, and denim overalls. They are smiling enthusiastically and pointing at a bright sparkler to their right, which is emitting sparks against a light purple background. The overall vibe is playful and whimsical.
The image features three versions of a clown character, all wearing red clown noses and set against a purple background:

- The left and right figures are dressed as stern-looking police officers in purple raincoats and black hats, with crossed arms and serious expressions.
- The center figure, wearing a mushroom-shaped hat and denim overalls, has an excited, happy expression while looking up at a lit sparkler floating above.

The contrasting moods of the figures create a playful and whimsical vibe.

Spark

It starts with a spark, hidden in the dark.

Join clown character Étincelle on a magical journey through water, caves and space as she searches for her Spark. Along the way, she faces obstacles, including run-ins with PC Percy, a cautious policeman.

In this sensory-filled adventure, you can feel water, taste something sweet, and smell the flowers. Featuring original music, it’s a heartwarming show that brought joy to Melbourne in 2024 and is ready to enchant Adelaide audiences.

“Spark” reflects Nicola's journey as a neurodiverse actor, constantly searching for joy. Inspired by her work as a drama therapist and humanitarian clown, and a meeting with Patch Adams who says he never has a bad day, we explore the question: "How can we hold onto our spark, and can we hold onto it forever?"
