The highly anticipated Poppin Out Festival is set to bring its vibrant celebration to the heart of Adelaide’s iconic Mary’s Poppin. Due to the shifting economic landscape affecting entertainment venues across South Australia, the event originally planned for Adelaide Gaol, will now unfold in the captivating ambiance of Mary’s Poppin, ensuring an unparalleled festival experience.

Embracing change with resilience and creativity, Poppin Out at Mary’s Poppin is not just a venue change; it's an evolution into an even more dynamic event. Starting from 6pm until late on Saturday, February 24, the festival promises a kaleidoscope of queer artistry, with three pumping dance floors, epic drag performances, and high-energy DJ sets.

But wait, the excitement continues with the venue itself levelling up to deliver a world-class festival experience. Poppin Out is expanding beyond the walls of Mary's Poppin into Synagogue Place. Here, attendees can indulge in the bustling atmosphere of a South Ave pop-up bar, outdoor seating, and a fabulous energetic outdoor dance area. This expansion not only adds to Poppin Outs allure but also showcases Adelaide’s urban charm.

Cece Penniston has been bumped from the lineup to accommodate for the new format resulting in the change in location with Sneaky Sound System remaining as the top billed act for the evening, alongside one of the world’s biggest Drag Artists ANETRA from Rupaul’s Drag Race USA.
