Painting has been Tim’s passion since 2011, when he created a portrait of his grandfather—an experience that led him to pursue art as a career. He is a self-taught abstract realist artist who has developed a distinctive style, drawing inspiration from other great artists while continually pushing his work to evolve. Based in Adelaide, South Australia, Tim’s artworks are collected both nationally and internationally, with pieces held in Australia, Switzerland, Singapore, the UK, and the US. His practice extends beyond canvas, including murals in pubs, youth spaces, homes, and offices. Tim was a recent contestant on ABC’s 2025 Portrait Artist of the Year, where he painted a live sitter in just four hours, demonstrating creativity under pressure while responding to the judges’ critiques.Social media
