My Budding Entropy
Gather in a wise old forest to experience a captivating musical tale of a non-binary spirit having a human experience. Inspired by Trans Ecology and framed within the Druid seasons, My Budding Entropy enchants you with original folk music, video art, an assemblage of clown characters and child-like play.
This is Queer theatre that doesn't take sides. It seeks unity between cis and trans communities, highlighting our mutual belonging to the evolving natural world. A desire to belong that we can all relate to. Laugh, cry and identify as we uproot the gender-binary through an unwavering force of humor, vulnerability and love.
Will the buds of our truest selves blossom back through the cracks?
All of our performances are relaxed. We feel there has been enough consideration in our process for the show to make enough sense to people with sensory differences.
Presented by: Holly Rowan and the Wilderbeans
We are Holly Rowan and the Wilderbeans! A dynamic performing quartet of non-binary artists from Naarm, beholding a niche pic-n-mix of creative flairs. Our collective art is categorised by cross-pollination and play, and we have gathered to tell you some epic tales of queer folks and their evolving relationship with the world, through physical theatre, original music and live-mixed animation. Our art interweaves worlds and asks deep questions, regarding nature, identity, societal norms and intergenerational perspectives. Our shows are raw but hilarious and we’re not scared of emotional rollercoasters, or difficult conversations.
