About this event

We present Social Entrepreneur & Craftsman Hamza El Fasiki from Craft Draft based in Fez, Morocco. Supported by the Council for Australian-Arab Relations & Australian Government Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade. Hamza is keeping the ancient crafts of Islamic Morocco alive; such as those of bookbinding and brass etching. Intimate groups for an exquisite experience in our backyard studio. Hamza is a Scholar, Historian, Musician and Artisan. All materials are provided including hand-crafted bone folders and buffalo horn-handled awls. You will take home your own artifact and traditional skills including sacred geometry, the golden ration and Islamic Art principles.

Please note: The performance on Wednesday 26th February has changed times from 9:30am to 5:00pm since the Adelaide Fringe Guide was printed.
