Meteors
Grief isn’t part of the conversation. Especially not as a young person. No one knows what to say, so it’s simply left unsaid.
This premiere work from The CRAM Collective explores the complex impact of the immediate and lingering effects of grief on young people. Melissa tells the story of the death of her mother, too many lasagnes brought over by neighbours and the continual search for something or someone out in the sky.
This show is presented by The Mill in partnership with Adelaide Fringe.
Presented by: The CRAM Collective
CRAM is a South Australian independent theatre collective. By cramming the most passionate and daring creatives into a room, we make work that changes the audience experience and redefines the Adelaide art scene.
With frequent sell-out seasons, CRAM have previously produced work including New World Coming, Something Big, The Future is You, FAG/STAG (and the subsequent encore season) and EDGE: A Collection of Monologues. CRAM has also had continued success at the 48Hr Film Project, with This is Fine. being taken to the Cannes Short Film Corner in 2024, after wins in Adelaide and Seattle at Filmapalooza. CRAM previously worked with Renew Adelaide to open the CRAM Hub, which was a co-working hub for artists, and was home to multiple residencies and scratch nights.
