Luen: Women's DJ Workshop

Multi-talented female artist Luen will be holding an all-Women's DJ Workshop
in Neon Forest at RCC Fringe. At workshops, you will not only be taught
how to control the decks, but also have the skills to mix tracks, apply
filters and understand DJ equipment on a professional level. Luen hopes to
encourage more women in Adelaide to take up DJ'ing and is looking forward
to making some new friends whilst answering any and all questions you
might have. Lessons will be taught in small groups of 8 women. No
equipment/experience needed. Female identifying, non-binary and
transgender encouraged!

From throwing parties at the age of 19, to working for VICE and Ableton, as well as hosting shows on both Triple J and FBi Radio, Luen has come to maturity within Australia's music landscape. In the past year, Luen has performed at Splendour in the Grass, Groovin The Moo, and recently returned to play her sophomore 6 hour set at a handful of respected clubs around Australia, including Sydney's Pavlova Bar and Melbourne's Revolver. Behind the decks Luen takes a wide approach, mixing house and techno classics with tasty and rare oddities.
