Our query: what happens when you combine jazz-funk with improvised contemporary dance?

Curated by award-winning choreographer Alix Kuijpers and Thomas Byrne leader of local jazz force Murk Lurker, join us as we bring together some of the best of local and interstate talent across dance and music for a magnetic and intimate experience.

Over the course of the evening, Murk Lurker will bring the creature to life with searing jazz improv and original music, whilst Alix Kuijpers unites some of the biggest names in contemporary dance, concluding with your own chance to join the experience with our open floor.
