From: New York, For: Him

Cabaret
SA Premiere
Melissa David was working as a professional actress in New York City when she met a rugged Australian in London. After an international romance, they married in Central Park. Then, Donald Trump took office and everything changed. Melissa's husband was in Africa for work when the immigration system crashed and she couldn't get him back into the USA.

Joined on stage by accompanist and drag provocateur Peppy Smears, Melissa David invites audiences to relive her bizarre journey across the USA, and then the world via hippy parents, exploding cars and bonfires full of wedding gifts. Her story will appeal to the romantic in all of us.

"A humble but incredibly talented performer. A rising star of cabaret" Theatre People
