Excel comedy & Mathem-antics
Comedy show for spreadsheet experts and casual users alike, performed by a true piece of sheet, that blends stand-up, storytelling and demos. Sprinkled amongst the comedy routine, you'll learn a few Excel tricks from pun-loving Excel YouTuber and Jewish math addict David - “The Excel Comedian”. By holding the official Microsoft MVP Award for Excel, David is considered by Microsoft to be amongst the top 100 or so Excel people worldwide, and he advises Microsoft on future directions for Excel. Growing up with a maths obsession shaped David's life and paved the way for him to become 'the Excel guy' at the office, attending spreadsheet conferences and indulging in mathem-antics.
David's debut of this show was a sellout run at Edinburgh Fringe 2025.
No prior knowledge of Excel or maths is needed to follow along with the show.

David Benaim - the Excel Comedian has been performing stand-up comedy for around 4 years, mostly in Cambodia where he is based; here he runs & MC's Cambodia's monthly mic and performs separately. David's first foray into professional comedy was at Edinburgh Fringe 2025 where he sold out his entre run.
David has been an Excel professional for far longer, 6 years a spreadsheet tutorial YouTuber with over 2.8M views. David also regularly runs webinars with over 1000 participants and provides Excel training & consulting. As a Microsoft MVP, he is considered amongst the top 100 or so Excel people worldwide.
David also does regular presentations (non-spreadsheet related) and is a mentor on presentation skills and stand-up comedy courses.
