Two mimes with arms outstretched.
Two mimes, one miming a snail with her hands on the other one's arm.
Two mimes, one miming and airplane with her hand and the other looking on concerned.

Double Take

'DOUBLE TAKE' weaves together eight short stories that, each in their own way, explore what it means to take a closer look. Performed without a single word by a pair of artists from NYC's Broken Box Mime Theater, 'DOUBLE TAKE' brings audiences on an epic journey from a bus stop to the big bang, passing by a hungry snail and returning to a sky full of stars. As told in Broken Box's unique style of contemporary mime, 'DOUBLE TAKE' celebrates the immense storytelling capacity of the body. From comedy to drama and everything in between, join us for a 60 minute adventure that encourages us to look closer, think again, and delight in the unexpected.

Performance incursions available upon request. Please contact Schools Program Coordinator at schools@adelaidefringe.com.au
