Claudia Callisto Presents - The Giussas & Marios 80's Dance Party & 80s Music Quiz Show
Returning for her 4th Fringe season, Claudia Callisto, Adelaide's Italian-Australian cultural storyteller, podcaster, & author of the book "The Good Italian Girl" is presenting-The Giussas and Marios '80s Dance Party & Quiz Show. This show celebrates the era of the Italian-Australian Giussas & Marios culture, their unique style & the iconic music of the '80s they loved to dance to.
Along with stories told by Claudia an actual real life '80s Giussa, the audience will dance to '80s music featuring a live DJ & participate in a fun interactive '80s music quiz. All generations are welcome to dance, laugh & relive the magic of the '80s era. The show aims to nostalgically transport audiences back to their youth and celebrate that unforgettable era unique to the Adelaide community of Giussas and Marios.

Claudia Callisto is an Italian- Australian Cultural Storyteller, Best Selling Author of the book “The Good Italian Girl", Performing Fringe Artist, Cultural Exhibition Curator and Podcast Creator & Host of “The Good Italian Girl and Friends Podcast". Claudia was born in Adelaide to Italian immigrant parents and uses the medium of comedy and storytelling to help others lighten their cultural baggage without abandoning their heritage. Over the past 3 years Claudia has written and performed at Fringe (2022-2024) creating shows based on her Italian-Australian life and experiences. Her previous sold out shows were called Claudia Callisto The Good Italian Girl. The Good Italian Girl Presents - Italian Love is a Battlefield and The Good Italian Girl Presents - Celebrating the Italian Sisterhood.

Venue has car parking behind, accessible by Olive St and Vine St. Surrounding street parking is also available. Venue is accessed by main entry on Prospect Rd, side entry via Vine St Plaza into Eliza Town Hall and at back basement via lift (during Library opening hours).
