Set in Dublin, 1997, we follow two friends as they prepare to compete for the crown of Alternative Miss Ireland with their Princess Diana drag act, under the noses of their hardline nationalist families. As they race through the city towards competition night, Diana's death sparks the unravelling of their secret, their friendship and their plans to leave Ireland.

Don't Tell Dad About Diana is presented, written and performed by Award winning Irish Theatre Makers; Hannah Power and Conor Murray. Both are graduates of BA Drama and Sociology at Trinity College Dublin and of the MA Acting program at Mountview, London. As a company they have received nominations for BBC Popcorn New Writing Award and Holden Street Theatre Award. The winners of the Fishamble New Writing and Bewley’s Little Gem Award at Dublin Fringe Festival 2025, they have presented work as part of Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Omnibus 96 Queer Festival, London. Rua Barron is an Irish actor & producer based in London. Producing credits include Edinburgh & Dublin Fringe Festivals and The Abbey Theatre, Dublin. This will be the company's Adelaide Fringe Festival Debut.Social media
