Simon and Simone are trapped in the relentless cycle that is their marriage. If only they loved each other as much as they need each other.
Albert keeps the world out despite all efforts to help him open up. If only he could remember how to open the door. When a strange messenger finds his way in, Albert is forced to face himself - literally.
If Simon and Simone are ever to find happiness, they must learn to get over the little things which have come to mean too much, and look beyond the square. Albert must learn to open up and let others in before his self-made solitude becomes all consuming.
This totally SA made absurd comedy explores the complexities of human relationships, co-dependency, isolation, goldfish and toilet paper.
Oh, and there’s a bit with a talking dog.

Aldo Longobardi Creative is the creative platform for South Australian educator, theatremaker, writer, and storyteller, Aldo Longobardi. For over 20 years, he has inspired the storytelling and artistry of young people in secondary schools across Adelaide, and has worked as an actor and director with many of South Australia's award winning theatre companies. Aldo established Aldo Longobardi Creative to provide opportunities for people of all ages to engage with their creativity and tell important stories through theatre, writing, and creative workshops and events. 'Absurd Persons Squared' is Aldo Longobardi Creative's Fringe debut with an original work written, directed, and performed by all South Australian creatives.
