C'est Si Bon with Lou Blackwell and the French Set

Lou Blackwell once lived in Paris where she studied cinema and jazz vocal technique which led to her singing and recording albums in the Paris jazz scene. When she moved back to Adelaide, the repertoire in her jazz gigs was overtaken by more and more French songs. Before she knew it, she had created a French variety show with some of Adelaide’s finest jazz musicians including renowned pianist and musical director Mark Simeon Ferguson and violinist Julian Ferraretto. They have performed in countless French events, award-winning Fringe seasons, including a CD release of ‘A Night in Paris’. They have toured to Melbourne, Brisbane and regional South Australia. For the 2022 Adelaide Cabaret Festival, they presented ‘Love on the Left Bank – the story of Juliette Gréco’ to critical acclaim.
