Immerse yourself in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture, Art, Dance and Song by joining us for a series of workshops, talks and presentations. Take the opportunity to be hands-on with one of the world’s oldest living cultures. Try your hand at traditional crafting techniques, experience dance and music performances, learn ancient languages and hear ancestral stories from Indigenous presenters.

Traditional Kaurna Acknowledgment to Country with a Cultural Presentation, including cultural presentation and Q&A.

22 Feb, 12 pm: Live from Tandanya Gallery Space ‘Weaving workshop'
Learn traditional Ngarrindjeri weaving techniques from the ladies of the Southern Elders Weavers. Create your own work of art whilst enjoying stories and sharing of cultural knowledge.

24 Feb, 1.15 pm: Live from Tandanya Arts Cafe ‘Indigenous Acoustic Musicians’
Please join us for a relaxing Sunday afternoon in the Tandanya café whilst enjoying the musical talents of a variety of established and emerging Indigenous musicians.

28 Feb, 10.15 am: Live from Tandanya Gallery Space ‘Beading & Art workshop’
Spend an entertaining hour making beautiful beaded jewelry and artworks whilst enjoying Aboriginal story-telling and cultural information sharing.

Experience Torres Strait Island Culture, Dance and Cultural information-sharing in an energetic dance and cultural performance. Includes the opportunity for Q&A.

1 Mar, 11.30 am: Live from Tandanya Gallery Space ‘Pitjantjatjara Language workshop’
Try your hand at learning simple words and phrases in Pitjantjatjara, one of the world’s oldest languages, whilst learning about Aboriginal culture and stories.
