A Class of Brass - Flying High
Kevin has won various Solo and Band Contests over the years throughout New Zealand and Australia including competing in the British Open Contest in 1975 and 2000 respectively. One of his greatest achievements was winning the Ern Keller International Soloist of the Year Competition in 2004 in Sydney - the only person from South Australia to win that prestigious competition.
Kevin was Principal Cornet for the Kensington & Norwood Band for 30+ years, however having retired from this position in 2015 he has been in heavy demand as not only a player but as a soloist and adjudicator.
