Eurydice is a superb companion to Orpheus: where Orpheus made inspired use of the Mortlock Wing, Eurydice deepens it. The lighting and staging are extraordinary, turning the space into a true dramatic presence, not a gimmick. Wright and Grainger make the building play back.

LOVE LOVE LOVED IT! So much humour, world class music and burlesque, mixed with unexpectedly poignant moments (Belle singing Heart of Glass dressed as a gorilla was far more touching than you’d expect). Definitely don’t miss this!

Rest is resistance. — Tricia Hersey Came in burnt out, left hopeful and crying. Important piece in a relentless time and world, reminding us that we are not alone, that our suffering is not in vain, that our resistance is not futile.

Very entertaining. Excellent actors, and cleverly set up to make the most of audience participation to create a truly amusing and entertaining 75 minute show.

Powerhouse vocals, delicately and thoughtfully weaved through love is love stories. Heartfelt and funny moments. Amelia Beveridge delivered a powerful, strong and at the same time a relatable and intimate performance. Definitely worth the trip out to Holden Street Theatres Hindmarsh, a cool from fringe vibe.
