went on saturday 24th with some friends and it made for such an entertaining night! the show went so quickly and left us wanting more!

Hilarious snappy comedy, Anna is an incredible performer and every single one of her lines was hysterical. Strongly recommend!

Saw the preview. Not easy delivering to a room that's sparsely populated, but everyone was laughing start to finish. This is a very smart, well put together show and I'd be hard pressed to give much in the way of constructive criticism. I just really liked it - Con is clever, the material is great and even the way the venue is set up lends itself to the shiow's charms. A hidden gem.

I knew so little about this show going in that I almost considered skipping it for something else - I am SO glad I didn't. How this isn't a hit being delivered in a 200-seater is beyond me. Alice has the most amazing presence and the content of the show is razor sharp. The music is great, her voice is really impressive and the tone of the show is perfect, start to finish. This is a queer cult hit waiting to happen.

I went into this show thinking of it as a bit of a "filler" - a show I saw around some other, more premium-in-appearance acts. So glad to have found a hidden gem. Every member of the cast delivered in terms of presence, personality and skill. It was funny, it was impressive, it delivered some pathos, and some genuine style amongst some very well crafted silliness. An easy 5-stars, will keep an eye out for Absurd next year.

So many autobiographical works can be self-indulgent, but this artist manages to find a delicate balance of vulnerability and humour. It is as much about perseverance as it is a request for audiences to consider the act of holding space for those close to us, rather than default to attempting to”fix” the challenges that face our loved ones.
