Wow, what an incredibly vulnerable and raw story telling journey through poetry, spoken word and songs. Be prepared to cry, laugh and empathise throughout this performance exploring trauma, grief, addiction, but also, love support and recovery. I really hope this show returns next year as it is so worthy of reaching many more people.

Powerful story of a boy with a rough start, who was brave enough to wrestle with intergenerational trauma, and in so doing, he builds the strength to grow into a man who knows the true power of love and the vulnerability of chasing a dream.

Absolutely brilliant show I am taking my son to see this too as Troy is truly incedible

A real from the soul story about life for people who grow up with drug abuse in the home. Troy speaks on his own experiences and really displays how intergenerational trauma carries through generations, and the role community and family has to play in recovery. It was heartfelt and honest, sadness and happiness together with a grateful nature towards his growth. It's a journey, unpolished but genuine.

This needs to be seen. His story told with emotion and some laughs and music.

Not a dry eye. If you’ve ever wondered how people move beyond their childhood trauma - Troy does an amazing job of laying all it out in an emotionally intelligent way. What struck me was how this story being told is not only an emotional bandaid for Troy but for many audience members too. Might be my fringe highlight.
