Wow, what an incredibly vulnerable and raw story telling journey through poetry, spoken word and songs. Be prepared to cry, laugh and empathise throughout this performance exploring trauma, grief, addiction, but also, love support and recovery. I really hope this show returns next year as it is so worthy of reaching many more people.

You know you will see greatness with any show performed at Holden Street and this show was no exception. An emotional story told beautifully by Troy. A must see show.,

Troy’s story is a roller coaster but he’s crafted this show with balanced empathy, humour and pathos. This is a must see for anyone who works in community services or has a story that echos his. Bring tissues and get ready for a post show hug (if you’re a hugger). 2 shows left- don’t miss out!

Powerful story of a boy with a rough start, who was brave enough to wrestle with intergenerational trauma, and in so doing, he builds the strength to grow into a man who knows the true power of love and the vulnerability of chasing a dream.

What an amazing man Troy is. He had us captivated by his honest recount of his brave recovery from a very traumatic up bringing. A true inspiration to all.
