I was drawn in and fully engaged from the very first words uttered by Paul Shearman in this highly emotive piece. We followed the highs and lows of an actor preparing for an important audition, enjoying Shakespearean tirades and titbits along the way as the central character slowly revealed himself to his audience. Get along to this quality piece of original theatre. Highly recommended!!!

A compelling solo performance that kept me riveted throughout. Explores the harsh reality of memory loss and loss of identity from the perspective of a Shakespearean actor. A powerful performance.

A wonderful performance beautifully acted by a skilled performer. Thought-provoking and moving.

Shows through the words of Shakespeare and past memories, the actor's attempt to keep his identity, independence and worth, while confronting the realisation that the dementia type illness has snuck up on him silently, gradually. His "rehearsal" reveals his past in a bitter sweet way.

Strong one man performance about an aging actor’s mental health decline. Opening here before touring to New York and Edinburgh’s Fringe this is well worth watching. Highly recommend it.
