Snape: Life after Voldemort
22 March 2026 - Ayunazeera Y.I wasn’t sure if it was because I’m not as well-versed in the Harry Potter universe or just not very familiar with this style of comedy, but I did find it a bit hard to connect with the show fully. That said, I do commend the effort and confidence it takes to present a piece like this to an audience. I think I would have enjoyed it more without the reliance on paper prompts and the frequent self-deprecating jokes, as they took me out of the experience at times. -
Snape: Life after Voldemort
15 March 2026 - Svetlana G.Sadly mind blowing in the wrong way. Very amateur, had to read jokes of the paper. Jokes were not funny but cringe and vulgar including vulgar props. Disappointed -
Snape: Life after Voldemort
13 March 2026 - J S.This show had it all, fun, excitement, and was such a thrill for any fan of the genre of live performances and Harry Potter fans everywhere -
Snape: Life after Voldemort
13 March 2026 - Susan D.Snape: Life after Voldemort is a fun premise but it wasnt executed in the show. Instead we kicked off with a sexist piece of audience participation (see other reviews) followed by lame jokes read from paper prompts. 0/10 -
Snape: Life after Voldemort
13 March 2026 - Chiara F.I did not expect to see Snape like this. The puns, innuendo, and props felt more like watching a TV sitcom than a HP movie, but the laughs kept me entertained, and there were lots of them. The audience participation was a little daunting, but if having Snape single you out doesn't panic you, it's great fun. I was impressed by how many things in Harry Potter can be turned into jokes, and in how many ways it can be done. Loved it. -
Snape: Life after Voldemort
10 March 2026 - Thomas V.My partner was the one forced to stand up in front of the crowd as the ‘comedian’ made fun of her breast size, after which she just felt hurt and humiliated. There was no structure or effort to be in character, parts were forgotten or skipped, with no preparation. The whole show was silent with awkward tension as a constant slew of insensitive vulgar jokes hit the air with an inability to read the room. Do not watch this show if you are looking for an enjoyable night. 0/10 -
Snape: Life after Voldemort
10 March 2026 - Alyssa V.I was the person who got the biggest laugh. I was really trying to help the poor man out by setting him up for jokes but he never used the opportunity. He was constantly over explaining his jokes and he was never in character. I thought he was going to walk in as Snape and we were going to have a classic Hogwarts lecture but it never happened. -
Snape: Life after Voldemort
10 March 2026 - Keren P.The worst show I have ever seen in all my years of going to the Fringe. At this ‘comedy show’ the biggest laugh was from a joke an audience member made. The artist was unable to deliver the show in character as Snape, was disorganised, kept forgetting his material, explained every joke, acknowledged they weren’t funny and mocked an audience member’s breast size. 0 out of ten. Would not recommend.
