A beautiful and poignant reflections on the transitory nature of the relationships we hold dear. The interweaving of the shadow puppetry, sound design and song was gorgeously done. This is well worth a watch.

Beautiful story about childhood and growing up that leaves you remebering your own up-bringing. The music is emotional and full of passion, and the story is one worth every dollar and more!

Abbey through words painted a beautiful narrative

Abbey is so so good at everything she does, from storytelling, to music, to comedy. This show has everything. One minute I was bawling my eyes out, the next, laughing. Made me feel all sorts of things, from nostalgia, to sadness, to inspiration and a sense of relief. Definitely a must see this fringe.

Beautifully written and captivating, this show takes you on the writer's emotional journey of the loss of a loved one who has not passed, however the distance between the two feels just as lonely, a topic that resonates with many. The atmosphere has been carefully crafted so that as an audience member you feel like you are inside the writer's bedroom, grieving alongside them. The writer's confidence shines in this performance.

Speechless. Everything was perfect. The mood. The silence. The noise. The shadow work. Just something as simple as looking up at a lamp post was so atmospheric. She has thought of everything to tell us, the audience, a story. And what a story. I never had books read to me as a child. It really made me think, why? I'll never forget this night.

Abbey can sing, act, write, create and produce. And probably more. She connects beautifully with her audience and makes you wonder about her heartwarming story. She is definitely an up and coming force in theatre. Go and see this show - you'll want to read the book too!
