Yoga with live music featuring Trav Collins
As a yoga teacher, I've always been interested in merging yoga with other forms of expressions, such as live music. In 2023, Tom and Trav experimented with the concept and found it was a calm, uplifting, and memorable experience. The incorporation of live music rather than a backing track gave the students a more intimate and raw experience.
In 2026, Tom and Trav will lead a yoga class full of movement. Please bring a yoga mat, comfortable clothing, a water bottle, and a towel. After the yoga class, we will have a 15 minute intermission and then Trav will perform a 50 minute set, playing a lot of his own music.
During the concert part of the show, you can choose to be seated or dance.
Please bring a yoga mat, comfortable clothing, water bottle, and towel. Some yoga mats available to borrow. There will be loud music and white lighting. Finger food, fresh juice, Fruit tea and coffee provided.
Presented by: Thomas Cassidy
My name is Thomas Cassidy. I am a yoga teacher and I have recently finished my certificate III in community services. My class provides a happy flow, getting a really good stretch and remaining fun, with a few challenges. Yoga teaching is very fulfilling - you can build a following and get many devoted students. I can plan, guide, and support my students to foster positive wellbeing. This will be my fourth year presenting at the Adelaide Fringe. Trav Collins works as a musician and is Adelaide-based. He was on Unearthed high and has been playing shows all over the country for the last few years, including festivals and headline ticketed events.
