Yelling at Children
It takes a special kind of performer to interact with children in this way. The show title is apt, but the spirit in which it is delivered creates an infectious environment of pure joy that envelops the audience, giving them permission to release their inner child whatever their age.
A high energy circus/clown performance of juggling, hula-hoops, magic (sort of), dance and acrobatics where the line between performer and audience loses definition and Mr Shaggles takes you on a journey into his world which becomes your world.
With close to 30 years experience as a performer all over the world, an award winning show at Adelaide Fringe 2023 (Adventures in Neverland) and a drive to constantly up-skill, Shannon McGurgan (AKA, Mr Shaggles) is excited to present this epic piece of clown/theatre.

Currently performing in Australia’s longest running show “The Ship That Never Was”, Strahan, Tas.
Co-founder of award winning troupe “Circus Trick Tease”, Adelaide Fringe award winner with “Adventures in Neverland”, creator of unique music/circus hybrid “Sea Shanty Circus" as well as countless acts spanning a 30 year career.
He works in circuses, theatre, music, cabaret, corporate events, public events and festivals (of any persuasion). He has performed with actors, singers, dancers, musicians, beauty queens, models, acrobats, clowns and performance artists worldwide.
His mantra, “performance is performance is performance” embodies the idea that every show brings the best and most professional work you can to the stage (even if that stage is a strip of grass in the neighbours backyard).
