A story of side streets, dive bars and how far you'd go for the person you love.
Since its creation in 2016, ORPHEUS has played over 650 shows around the world - in festivals, cafes, gardens, railways arches, bars, tents, churches, yoga studios, boats, record shops, breweries, loft apartments and very occasionally, a theatre. It’s won multiple awards including:

Best Music (Sydney Fringe) 2019
Beyond Words (Dunedin Fringe) 2019
Best Theatre (Adelaide Fringe) 2023
And it’s back, in a big way, so…
Presented by: Wright&Grainger, ParrotOx, Tom Oliver Productions and Joanne Hartstone Presents
Wright&Grainger are from the fields and lanes of rural North Yorkshire in the UK. They tour the world with their wild retellings of ancient stories. They’d toured across the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Bali, India and transferred their shows Off Broadway.
Their shows include ORPHEUS, HELIOS, EURYDICE, THE GODS THE GODS THE GODS, GRANDPA POSEIDON and HALF MAN || HALF BULL.
Wright&Grainger are Al & Phil, two pals who started playing gigs together at school. And who, over 20 years later, are still doing that.
They’ve partnered with Lauren Eisenger who is at the helm of ParrotOX, the powerhouse behind Burnout paradise and The Unfair Advantage.
Tom Oliver Production created the world class Wynnum Fringe.
Joanne Hartstone is one of the most celebrated presenters in Adelaide.
