Toby is a baritone who has performed opera, operetta, theatre, private & corporate engagements as well as solos at various events such as for the Wagner Society. He has fond memories of singing in choirs and cantor in several churches. In 2022 he won 1st Prize in the Adelaide Eisteddfod singing competition (Musical theatre) and found producing a Christmas fundraiser concert at Woodville Town Hall rewarding. In 2023 he sang the lead of Count Danilo in Franz Lehar's 'The Merry Widow' with the SA Light Opera Society and Sgt. Belcore in Donizetti's 'The Elixir of Love' with Co-Opera. Toby is keen to be part of bringing more opera and classical music to the community. He also wanted to explore the show off-stage we go through as not only artists but also as "Australians" in a fragmented world.
