THE BRIT (aka as The British Workingmen's Club) is a large and magnificent Entertainment venue comprising (4) amazing performance spaces THE MARQUEE ROOM with a seated capacity of (280) , The LEGENDS BAR (150) and COMEDY BAR seated capacity of (65) and a new BEER GARDEN seated capacity 100. The venue has off road car parking, is Air Conditioned, has a FULLY STOCKED BAR servicing all (3) spaces. It has held FRINGE EVENTS for the last (8) years and each of the (3) spaces has it's own professional stage area. The MARQUEE has a GREEN ROOM. Each space is carpeted and the MARQUEE ROOM and LEGENDS BAR have their own toilet facilities. LOAD IN is very EASY for both MARQUEE and LEGENDS.THE COMEDY BAR has a wide stage complete with GRAND PIANO and PA and well suits COMEDY, STAND UP, MAGIC, PIANO BASED ACTS, SOLOS, DUOS & TRIOS. THE MARQUEE ROOM and LEGENDS BAR have undergone a lot of changes in 2022 & 2023 with a state of the art SOUND SYSTEM and Stage lighting being installed in both rooms.
