Recently celebrating its 10th birthday, Prospect Theatre for Young People is a community based company that offers drama workshops and theatre projects for young people aged 7 – 17.
PTFYP is all about creating new works based on the ideas and imaginations of the young people involved, that are relevant and important to them. They also develop the skills and confidence to perform their stories to a variety of audiences and in a number of venues, including Holden Street Theatres, the Prospect and Woodville Town Halls and the Garden of Unearthly Delights.
Over the past 10 years, PTFYP has created and performed more than 15 new works, including "S/HE..." and "Fear Not" (with Cirkidz).
Their shows have been highly acclaimed by critics, teachers, students and general audiences.
