Travelling Tunes
Christine Morphett and Peter Franche are Telenn Tri. Interweaving an interesting blend of old and new melodies with dexterous harp playing and sensitive accordion, bouzouki/guitar arrangements.
Telenn Tri have been travelling around the British Isles and Europe for the past 2 years, discovering new inspiration for their music, and are coming to celebrate their new compositions. They have performed at Bridport Folk Festival, South Petherton Folk Festival, and various clubs in Somerset, UK.
Their CD ‘Macquarie Street’ was a finalist for Traditional Folk Music Album in the Australian Folk Music Awards organised by Folk Alliance Australia in 2022, with Christine's composition ‘Collaboration Jig’ named in “The Music Hub Collection Top Tunes in Scotland in 2022”.

Performing with an obvious passion for the music, they draw on traditional Irish, Scottish and Breton as well as original and contemporary music for their inspiration.
Their CD ‘Macquarie Street’ was a finalist for Traditional Folk Music Album in the Australian Folk Music Awards organised by Folk Alliance Australia in 2022.
Christine's tune 'Sunday Birds' was part of Poppy Harps Competition in the UK, in 2024, where she collaborated with Glasgow harpist Sophie Rocks. '

Enter venue via Oval Rd by Bridge then Nicolle Rd. THE MAP IS INCORRECT as it shows Nicolle Rd crossing the River. This is wrong. There is no vehicle crossing from Grants Gully Rd to venue via Nicolle Rd just a walk way. THE MAP MUST BE CORRECTED. Nicolle Rd via Oval Rd is best option and this ends at Riverbend Car Park where guests can park.
