Tracy Crisp: Stitches

★★★★★ "Stitches is sheer delight" InDaily

★★★★★ "A consummate writer and solo performer" Glam Adelaide

It's the annual stitch-and-b**ch competition. After years of coming second (plus the indignity of being banned from the craft section of the Royal Show), Tracy is determined that this year she will win. The only problem? She's in a creative slump and all out of new ideas. Then, with only an hour to go, genius strikes! Will it be enough to save her dignity and take home the trophy? A mostly true, slightly made-up story about women's friendships, middle age, and the way we piece our lives together bit by bit.

(This year Tracy is presenting all 6 of her shows. Tix to each sold separately, but buy tix to 2 shows in the same transaction for a discounted price).

I have developed written and audio notes to provide added context for people who are blind or have low vision. You can access those notes here: https://www.tracycrisp.com.au/enhanced-program-notes/stitches

"The art of storytelling relies on two things Tracy Crisp has nailed: entertainment and believability" InDaily.

Since 2018, Tracy Crisp has been creating a new show each year to debut at the Adelaide Fringe. Piece by piece she has created a series of six solo shows all told with her trademark blend of humour and poignancy. These hugely relatable middle-age reflections on daughterhood, parenthood, relationships and self, draw an eagerly-returning (and growing) audience to her sold-out performances.

Now, for the first time, Tracy is showing all six shows in one season. This is a unique chance to catch up on a show you’ve missed, rewatch one of your favourites, or see them for the first time.

Playful and poignant stories told with wit and Gen X wisdom.
