An eccentric and dysfunctional group of twenty-somethings, gather together for a pot luck dinner in order to meet their friend's new partner. What happens when the newcomer isn't at all what they were expecting? A comedy about the issue with jumping to conclusions and the consequences they bring.

Founded in 2015 by Laura Colella, starheART theatre is an Adelaide based company designed to create opportunities for artists. It's aim is to show Adelaide some of the talent that is in it's own backyard. It runs on the notion that to be successful, you sometimes have to make opportunities happen for yourself. Beginning their first project with just 8 members, starheART theatre has grown to give opportunities to almost 70 local and international artists. Their biggest project to date, the release of their feature film, 'THE ESSENCE', allowed creatives in all different fields to get involved. Winners of the Holden Street Theatre award for their 2020 Adelaide Fringe production 'Dirty People' written by Charlie Falkner, starheART theatre are keen to perform their second original theatre show!
