An Indigenous Trilogy is a series of original plays written and directed by acclaimed playwright, Wathaurong/Ngarrindjeri man Glenn Shea. In development for over three decades, comprising of three acts, Three Magpies Perched in a Tree, Masterpiece and Some Secrets Should be Kept Secret.
At the 2023 Adelaide Fringe Glenn premiers the first act within the trilogy Three Magpies Perched in a Tree. A powerful one-person performance. Three Magpies perched in a Tree has writing awards and is described as 'heartwarming' and not to be missed!

Glenn Shea (Wathaurong/Ngarrindjeri) is an acclaimed, award-winning playwright (including recipient of the State Library of Victoria R.E Ross Trust Development Award and Play Writing Australia Script Workshop Selection Award), director and performer and was the first Aboriginal person to graduate NIDA with a degree in Dramatic Art. Glenn was the recipient of the 2020 NAIDOC Award for Elder and Respected Person Wathaurong Aboriginal Cooperative for outstanding cultural/program service to community.
