The Otherworld: Elements

After the decimation of The Otherworld, the world has taken a new order. Follow the elements: fire, earth, air and water as they seek balance and harmony. Featuring live, original and cover music by Smoke No Fire and a combination of aerials, contortion, fire and more, these local Adelaide artists aim to blur the boundaries of traditional circus.

Olio Circus continues the story of a new world order after great success on their debut show in 2019.

"...a different spooky, daring production and a fresh new look..." Winner of BEST NEW CIRCUS 2019 The Sunday Mail.

★★★★★ "...The Otherworld takes a bold step by redefining the classic circus arts and adding a dark yet thoroughly intriguing non-verbal narrative into the mix" The Weekend Notes 2019

★★★★ The Advertiser 2019

Presented by: Olio Circus

Local Adelaide circus artists Ellyse Bunney, Melissa Johns and Natalie Tran have collaborated with up and coming musicians, Brent Lores and Thomas Alexander of Smoke No Fire to create a synergistic blend of circus and music. Performing at Adelaide Fringe and various events since 2016, these multi-disciplinary artists formed Olio Circus in 2018 and debuted their first show as a company 'The Otherworld' with great success.
