The Magic Parlour at Fool’s Paradise

Step into an intimate space for a fast-paced close-up magic show.

This is modern sleight-of-hand mixed with psychological illusion, performed inches from your face. Any closer and it would violate international law. No assistants. No stage tricks. No fog machines. Just incredible magic that blows. Your mind.

Created and performed by Joel Bentley (UK), an international entertainer currently touring across Asia, Australia and Europe, also appearing at this year’s Fringe with his full theatre show ‘Mindsplaining’.

Each show runs for 25 minutes and is limited to a small number of guests, creating a personal, high-impact experience where every seat is part of the action.

Joel Bentley is a UK-born mentalist and magician whose fascination with psychology and human behaviour fuels his unique approach to mind reading and illusion. Drawing on his background in psychology, he creates performances that explore how attention, belief, and connection shape our reality. His acclaimed show Mindsplaining grew from a curiosity about how technology manipulates our choices and how genuine human connection still cuts through the noise. Having performed worldwide, Joel blends humour, insight, and astonishment to reveal the wonder hidden in everyday life.
