The Lost Treasure Drawing Fest.
The Lost Treasure Drawing Fest. is about encouraging all visitors to take up a pencil and start drawing. The Co-ordinator, Graham Dunstan feels drawing is being lost in the art world, and wants others to enjoy the practice of drawing, no matter their level or skills.
Amongst the RSASA Members' Autumn Exhibition, 6 February - 15 March, on Saturday afternoons 21, 28 Feb, 7,14 March 1 - 4pm, sections of the RSASA Gallery will be set up for drawing by visitors. There will be items to draw, e.g. still life, tools, plants, equipment, photos and a mural to add to. Artists will be available for assistance, and our new emerging artists will be able to showcase their artworks if they wish to.
Large Scale drawings, all in graphite pencil will be on show, 2m x 1m from some RSASA Members exploring how drawing can progress.
Explore the processes during these sessions and draw.
