Wright&Grainger are ‘two masters of storytelling’ (FourthWall) from North Yorkshire, UK. They tour the world with spoken word, music and storytelling. Their retellings of ORPHEUS and EURYDICE have played hundreds of shows across continents in fields, tents, pubs, bars, shops, houses, lanes, gardens, railway arches, boats and the occasional theatre. They are multi-award winning theatre makers who regularly team up with the multi-award winning Joanne Hartstone to bring their work to Adelaide. For THE GODS THE GODS THE GODS in 2023 they’re damn happy to be working with Australian artist and performer Megan Drury, and UK music producer Tom Figgins, along with lighting designer George Cort and Stage Manager extraordinaire Brains. THE GODS THE GODS THE GODS is a standing show, we invite everyone in to a dance floor in the middle of the room. If you need a seat, you’ll be very welcome to one, of course. Just chat to someone at the venue when you arrive.
