Back from a sold-out season and rave reviews in 2017, jden redden returns for a 60-minute journey uncovering the dirty-work of the gambling elite. Armed with only 52 playing cards and two hands --- this crash course in card cheating is a world-class demonstration of card manipulation and deceit at the card table.

In 1902 a mysterious and anonymous man by the same of S. W. Erdnase published a book called The Expert at the Card Table. In the following years this book has gained cult-like status in the magic and gambling world --- required reading by any magician and gambler. This show is the physical interpretation and logical conclusion of that book.

Venue

La Boheme

For years La Bohème has worked to provide an intimate and professional environment for all manner of independent performers, establishing a reputation as Adelaide's home of cabaret. There are two options for performance spaces, the Main Stage (Main Room) and Cabinet Room (Upstairs). The Main Room can comfortably seat 60 patrons and is one of the busiest single room venues throughout the Adelaide Fringe and home to the Cabaret Fringe Festival. The main room is fully equipped with professional sound tech and lighting, along with a professional tech, front of house staff and bar team. This is required to ensure premium quality and security of the venue, unless prior negotiations or an exception of regular or multiple performances is in place. The Cabinet Room offers similar features (with minimal lighting options) and is the perfect space for 40 seated patrons.
