The Cocoon
Adelaide will fall in love with love, as The Cocoon, BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND, taking audiences on a journey through unrequited love, young love, transformed and new love.
Written by New York’s Kotryna Gesait & directed by Brisbane-based Timothy Wynn, The Cocoon is divided into four vignettes: two monologues, two duologues; all of which throw the audience into the lived experiences of love at its varying stages.
Making its debut at the Adelaide Fringe festival in 2018 and returning in 2019, The Cocoon is an immersive theatre experience that demonstrates the binding universality of love which transcends binary understanding of gender and sexual self-identification. Gesait captivates audiences, evoking the realisation that when it comes to love, we’re not alone.
Pre-show beverages at Peter Rabbit will be available commencing @ 6:30pm.
