The Backyarders' 5th Birthday Extravaganza with Fallen Sunrise

It's our 5th birthday & we can't think of a better way to celebrate.

The musical equivalent of a sausage on bread at your local hardware store, The Backyarders' high-energy folk/punk meets Fallen Sunrise's laid back groove to produce one very special party as Aussie as Vegemite!

The Backyarders have recently released a cracking new album, and epitomise Australian Backyard culture, delivering a high-energy performance laced with accordion, violin & gang vocals.

After a 16 year hiatus, Adelaide's own Fallen Sunrise are bringing their surf rock vibes to the Wheaty stage for a once only performance - not to be missed!

Expect hills hoists, fairy bread & one hell of a good time, coz that's just the way life is!

★★★★★ "Outstanding!" Ed Davis

Delivering a high-energy performance laced with accordion, violin and gang vocals; contemporary folk, punk and rock meet traditional songs from around the world. Formed in late 2019, this super group of Adelaide musicians: Doug Clark - Vocals & Guitar (Emergency Rule), Pearl Tassell - Accordion (Soursob Bob), Dylby McCullough - Bass & Vocals (Pimpin' Horus), Sarah O'Brien - Violin (The Timbers), and Lachlan Stopa - Drums (Descend to Acheron) burst onto the scene with a sold out show at the Adelaide Fringe in 2020. As Aussie as vegemite, be prepared for hill hoists, fairy bread, and a bloody good time!
