Tassels & Tummies: A Fat Burlesque

They said fat bodies couldn’t take centre stage — so we built one.

‘Tassels & Tummies’ is a glitter-drenched celebration of fat joy, sensuality, and self-love. Each night features a rotating cast of bold, brilliant performers reclaiming space through burlesque, cabaret, and unapologetic softness. Expect laughter, power, and maybe a few tears — because when fat bodies take the stage, the whole room changes.

After a sold-out debut in August 2025, this spectacle returns to Adelaide Fringe bigger, bolder, and sparklier than ever. Featuring a dazzling mix of local and interstate performers, it’s a joyful rebellion wrapped in rhinestones — a reminder that every body deserves to be seen, celebrated, and adored.

Come for the tassels, stay for the tummies, and leave feeling gloriously alive.
