Studio Dog and other Studies

Rod Bax is an established artist who has been exhibiting professionally for over 40 years.  He works in a variety of mediums but is best known for his gouache and watercolours of the wetland areas of the State's southeast.  Recent work returns to a great interest in drawing and the relevance of the line as a personal signature.  The family labrador became the perfect model to explore the elements of composition and the variety of linear expression.
